Wayne RouschPresident

Wayne Rousch brings over 35 years of experience in developing energy infrastructure and resource projects in North America and internationally. He has held strategic leadership roles for large corporations such as Emera Inc. and Nova Corporation and Pan- Alberta Gas Ltd. as well as numerous start-up companies over his career. Mr. Rousch has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary and is a registered Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta. He is presently a Board Member of Forent Energy Inc. and former co-chair and Board Member of Climate Change Central.

Gary Chen has been Executive Vice President of Morichal Sinoco S.A. since February 2011. Previously, Mr. Chen served as Vice President, Business Development of Noveko International. Before joining Noveko, he was President and founder of Unitam International Management Corporation Inc. From Unitam’s inception in 1998, Mr. Chen worked with clients in the construction, energy, life sciences and technology sectors to establish sales and distribution activities, joint-venture partnerships and OEM manufacturing operations throughout Asia.

Scott ReevesDirector

Scott Reeves is a partner with a practice focused on securities, corporate finance and commercial transactions for emerging and growth companies, joint ventures and partnerships. He has advised numerous private and public corporations (including registered dealers) in a wide range of business matters including access to capital markets, corporate governance and operational issues both nationally and internationally.

He acts for a large number of TSX and TSX Venture Exchange-listed companies in a wide range of industries, including oil and gas, mining, technology, biotechnology and industrial issuers. Scott has extensive experience in financing options, private equity and public offerings, public listings and exchange matters, corporate acquisitions, share and asset acquisitions and dispositions, restructurings, securities regulatory requirements for issuers and dealers and other related business transactions. He also acts a director and/or corporate secretary for many public and private companies, providing detailed corporate governance and continuous disclosure advice to his clients.

Scott obtained his law degree (LL.B ’95 hons.) and commerce degree (B.Comm ’91 hons.) from the University of Alberta where he served as editor in chief for the Alberta Law Review. He has received numerous academic and community service awards and has published and lectured extensively in the areas of growth financing, stock exchange listing and corporate governance.

He has acted as a lead instructor for the Masters degree program in eBusiness from Osgoode Hall Law School and has taught advanced corporate finance and corporations law at the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Law. Scott is also a member of the Alberta Advisory Board for the TSX Venture Exchange.

Scott is active in various community and professional organizations, including as past Chairman of the Canadian Bar Association (Alberta) Business Law subsection. In his spare time, Scott plays and coaches minor hockey and lacrosse, is involved in numerous sporting activities and tries to enjoy the beautiful Alberta Rocky Mountains whenever he can.

Chih-Sheng (Victor) HsuDirector

Mr. Chih-Sheng (Victor) Hsu graduated from Tamkang University, with a major in Economics and received a master’s degree in Senior Management Business Administration (EMBA) from Shanghai Fudan University. Mr. Hsu is an established and active business person with a broad network not only in the business world but also in politics, and social work. He is currently serving as an important member of the following organizations and entities: President of Shanghai Kang Yu Lica Cosmetics Co., Ltd; Mainland party representative of Chinese Nationalist Party’s 18th Plenary Session; Executive Director of Shanghai Taiwan Compatriots Investment Enterprises Association; Vice president of Shanghai Xuhui District, Taiwan Association; and Committee Member of the Shanghai Youth Federation.
